Apart from giving you personal advice and promising to use only safe, proven and tested material, colours and tools in a hygienic environment we have put some tips together for you to take care of your tattoo after the session:

After the session we wrap the tattoo carefully to protect it from germs.

Depending on the time of day you can remove this initial bandage after 2-3 hours or perform the following steps in the morning (having left the bandage overnight).

The foil mustn't stay on for more than 8 hours, though.

Removing the bandage:

  • Take it off carefully
  • Have a shower and carefully wash off the remaining vaseline, blood and colour using soap and warm water. Do not use a rough sponge.
  • Avoid soaking the skin with water now and get out of the shower briskly.
  • Use a fresh towel to dab your tattoo dry.

Taking care of your tattoo:

  • Avoid swimming pools, saunas, steam baths and contamination in general for the next 8-10 days.
  • Make sure there is always a fine layer of cream on your skin. Don't use too much, it shouldn't be all white, but it should also be enough to avoid tension and burning sensations after a while.

  • We recommend our own mixture - desinfecting and tested wound- and healing ointments, which you can either get from us or at any chemist's.
  • While healing, your tattoo will itch - please avoid any scratching or tearing of the developing scab anyway!
  • The more you take care of the healing wound and the more you protect it from physical impact (clothing, backpacks,..) the better the colour will stay inside the skin and will not peel off too quickly with the prematurely removed scab.

  • Continue grooming your skin until it is fully healed.
  • After a few weeks the initially new, fine skin will become just as resilient as the old one.
  • Still: Protect your tattoo from intensive sunlight and occasionally treat it to some extra moisture using some suitable cream.
